Indusquip Marketing is a Closed Corporation registered in the Republic of South Africa and is one of four companies in the Indusquip Group.

The Indusquip Group was originally started in June 1988 specifically to market NEW and fully REMANUFACTURED electric motors and associated equipment.

The company has concentrated mainly on the sale and distribution of NEW and REMANUFACTURED electric motors and has established a good standing and reputation in the market place, both in the R.S.A, surrounding African Countries and abroad, for quality and service.

Indusquip Marketing is the sole importer and supplier of the brand of High Efficiency 1 & 2, SABS certified low voltage electric motors, WEM High Voltage motors, WEM Variable Speed Drives and associated equipment. Indusquip are the sole approved agent for the “THRIGE” DC motor range in South Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa.

INDUSQUIP HEAD OFFICE & STORES

Indusquip is situated at 28 Rail Road, Roodekop Germiston, with Main Stores of over 5000m², offices of 900m² and further yard area of 3500m² with further extensions planned, as well as further stock-holding in key areas.

Large stock’s are shelved and fully computerized for efficient sales and stock control.

Indusquip maintains its own repair and remanufacturing facility at Roodekop, Germiston. It however also employs a number of SABS certified and approved, fully equipped Armature Re-winders to undertake on a contract basis the repair or rebuilding of motors on its behalf.

All the work for Indusquip is done under strict detailed documented instruction by these Sub-contractors who are ISO 9002 certified. All work is personally inspected and approved by our own staff before acceptance.

Indusquip are therefore currently able to handle motor sizes ranging from 1 to 700kW in Low Voltage, as well as up to 15,000kW in High Voltage.

INDUSQUIP - LOW VOLTAGE MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

WLQJ was founded in 1958 and is one of the top three largest suppliers of medium and small sized asynchronous electric motors in China. The recent move in 2006 to new premises with covered factory in excess of 232 000m², has assured WLQJ will become a market leader in not only their own domestic market, but in exports to over 30 countries around the world.

INDUSQUIP - HIGH VOLTAGE MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

Indusquip have agreements with two of the largest High Voltage manufacturers in China for the supply of the highest quality WEM brand of High Voltage motors.

With factories covering over 1km² in area of space, and more than 450 000m² in modern workshops.
Several VPI tanks up to 4.8m diameter, workshop overhead cranes of 400 tons, own dock for loading containers & motors up to 600 tons.

Joint ventures and co-production with a number of Large International companies has insured constant improvement in production, research & development of electric motor products.

Co-production with SIEMENS, GE, MITSUBUSHI & technology from WESTINGHOUSE USA and ABB Switzerland assists in improved high quality and performance of products.

Products are Large & Medium Turbine generators and Large & Medium AC / DC Electric motors.

INDUSQUIP – VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE MANUFACTURING

Indusquip have sold Variable Speed drive equipment for the past 12 years, but during the last two years the Company has successfully marketed their own brand of “WEM” drives sourced from INVT in China for the Africa continent.
